Use your everyday pauses!

Do you often just scroll when you wait for the food to heat up? Well, try to get some movement in instead!

Here are a few ”Microwave movements” you can do when you get those extra couple minutes before eating. 🍽

👟 First, take off your shoes. Feel the floor, get grounded.

1️⃣ Inhale, raise your arms over your head. Exhale, fold forward, stretch your back. Use a counter, desk or table to lean on, to get that gooood stretch in your chest. Stay there for a couple of breaths.

2️⃣ Come into a Warrior 1 pose. One foot infront of the other, big step apart. Square your hips forward. Inhale and raise your arms up. Pause. Exhale, arms coming back down by your side. Then do the opposite side, same thing.

3️⃣ Feet wide apart, inhale and raise your arms up over your head. Exhale and fold forward, all the way down (as far as you can go, bend your knees if that feels good). Take a couple of breaths here, try to relax and let your head and shoulders hang loose. To come up, place your hands on your hips, bend your knees ans slowly come up. Active legs, active core.

Try to do these moves a few times a day, when microwaving, waiting for the bus or in line at the grocery store (even if you might get a few looks 😅)! ☀️😊
